Authentic brass shells engraved by the 29th Vancouver Battalion known as CEF (Canadian Expeditionary Force). Bottom of shells are marked "Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe 119A" (under wood base). Shells are a matching trio since they list the CEF's battles between 1914 and 1919: Vimy, Amiens, Rosieres, Hill 70, Valenciennes, St-Eloi, Ypres, Somme, Lens, Mons, Passchendaele, Arras, Cambrai. They each measure 92 mm high, base diameter is 43 mm and top is 38 mm. Shells can be used as cool pencil holders and candlesticks.
