Signed "Leiner, Imprimi permittitur Ordinariatus episcopalis Limburgensis" which means printing allowed by the Episcopal Order of Limburg (Belgium or Netherlands). Measures 12 3/4 X 16 1/2. Complete, shows tears however very sturdy. Salvaged from a broken frame. A family used this antique lithograph to commemorate the death of their loved father Armand-Denis De Grandpré 1923-1968. This printing however is much older. On the right there is a beautiful goodbye prayer in French. Notice the printer's emblem bottom left and number 224. Heart breaking scene of a father in his death bed with his children and wife by his side. The scene above shows angels bringing him to paradise.
