Rare porcelain tobacco pipe holder and sculpture of a native Quebec chief Indian. Acquired from a church's museum in rural Quebec, Canada. Numbered 8328 by hand. Our Indian or "Amérindien" in French as we prefer to call him, is holding a calumet traditional tobacco pipe. Colors are still vivid, sculpture has no cracks, however our chief is missing the tip of a boot and the tip of several of his feathers. Measures 8 inches tall, base is 7 X 5.5 inches.
