Original book dated 1817, complete, leather covers and binding still holding. It has a beautiful gold crest marked "College de Sainte Barbe". Published by Auguste Delalain in Paris. Entitled in Latin and translates partly to "Jacob Vanierii, Rustic Property, new edition corrected during the author's life". Book is written in Latin with parts in French. The College of Sainte Barbe was a Parisian school founded in 1460. It closed in 1999 and was the oldest college in Paris. It has now become a University Library. Book measures 3 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches.
